Hello dcaf! So, what is a ” Coco ” book? Sorry, this is my first time on this page … in a long time. What is an advocate? A spouse like mine — who supports me and also is willing to talk to others about Type 1 whenever and wherever she goes. She connects with others with a smile and optimism.!

Hello Mike! Coco is a Disney character that has type 1 diabetes. Lilly and Disney partnered together to create a series of books for children with diabetes.

Having a supportive spouse makes living with diabetes somewhat easier. I’m amazed at how they quickly become advocates for us and the community.

Thank you for visiting and participating.
